What’s New at Tradewinds Coach and Marine

Deland, Fla.

Tradewinds Coach and Marine is proud to announce the addition of John Dunn, a full-time sales consultant to its team. Mr. Dunn comes to Tradewinds with 40 successful years in the sales and marketing industry, always making it a priority to provide the best service for buyers and sellers alike.

In December 2016 Tradewinds became a licensed dealer, which allows the company to truly be a full-service facility assisting customers in the purchase of a coach, the service, repair and upgrades on that coach and the eventual sale of that coach.

Mr. Dunn will serve as the primary contact for all buying and selling requests at Tradewinds and will handle all aspects of the sales process.

The hire of Mr. Dunn comes at an opportune time for Tradewinds as the company is expanding its operating space. After purchasing its facility in September 2016, the company is expanding from 20,000 to over 40,000 total square feet. The additional space is scheduled to be completed by August 2017 and will feature a showroom directly next to its service facility to better serve all its clients’ needs.

Another high priority for the company as it continues moving forward is adding permanent 50A service outside the building. Tradewinds plans to add power along the building (closest to its offices) and another 10-12 plugs on the opposite side of the parking lot. This will serve as a staging area for completed coaches, additional space to showcase coaches for sale and will also give Tradewinds the opportunity to host mini-rallies and other events in the future.

Tradewinds Coach and Marine Gears Up for 2017

Deland, Fla.

Moving Forward – What’s Next

The most obvious change at Tradewinds’ will be to its facility. After purchasing its facility in September 2016 the company is expanding from 20,000 to 40,000 square-feet of operating space. The expansion comes with a lot of changes, a lot of challenges and a lot of excitement.

The exterior of the building is first on the to-do list. After getting a general clean-up, the exterior of the building is currently in the process of being completely repainted and is expected to be completed by January 13, 2017.

Another high priority for the company is adding permanent 50A service outside the building. Tradewinds plans to add power along the building (closest to its offices) and another 10-12 plugs on the opposite side of the parking lot. This will serve as a staging area for completed coaches and will also give Tradewinds the opportunity to host mini-rallies and other events in the future.

In December 2016 Tradewinds became a licensed dealer. Becoming a dealer allows Tradewinds to truly be a full-service facility assisting customers in the purchase of a coach, the service, repair and upgrades on that coach and the eventual sale of that coach. Owners who are familiar with Tradewinds’ service can expect the same level of quality and care to be taken in the sale of their coach.

Ready to sell your coach? Contact Tradewinds to consign your bus and allow the company’s expertise and knowledge of the Prevost network assist in the sale of your coach.

Tradewinds Coach and Marine Reflects on a Successful 2016

Deland, Fla.

The Year That Was

In 2016 Tradewinds celebrated its sixth year in business and its sixth consecutive year of growth. In September, the company purchased the 40,000 square-foot building it previously leased a portion of the for three-plus years.

“After starting this company as a mobile repair service working out of the back of a pickup truck, we are extremely proud to purchase our facility,” Scott Bennett company co-owner said.

As Tradewinds continued looking for ways to better serve the Prevost market it became a licensed RV dealer and is excited to announce that, in addition to having a service booth, it will be showcasing three coaches at the Prevost-Stuff show in Tampa on January 16th and 17th.

“Becoming a dealer was the next step in the process,” Brian Miller, company co-owner said. “Being a dealer allows us to truly be a full-service facility helping customers make a smooth transition from purchase to service to enjoying their bus.”

The company continued introducing, implementing and installing Control4; an innovative home automation and controlling system. It continues to be one of the simplest, and most affordable, automation systems on the market today.

“This system offers the best value in the industry when compared to other controlling systems available on the market,” Bennett said.

Tradewinds closed the book on 2016 with 10 full-time employees with the immediate need to hire additional technicians and salesmen.
